I wanted to Introduce myself.

My name is Katie and I'm a travel agent specializing in special needs travel. Travel with a special needs child comes with a full extra suitcase of just medical supplies that  Includes a cough assist machine, breathing treatment, oxygen tubing, G-tube supplies, special food, suction machine, pulse ox, and portable oxygen. So we come with a lot! I could never find a travel agent who truly understood so during the pandemic I became travel agent.

On our first trip I knew we were gonna have a great time when the gentleman representing Disney was coming around greeting everyone  also had special needs. This showed me we would be welcomed with open arms!

hey
everyone!

From then on we were treated like we belonged. During the trip, we were escorted to the front of the line for a few rides, but otherwise Sloane was treated as a typical kid. That meant so much to my family and I.

Sloane has a few diagnosis’s… Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, brain injury, vision impairment, sensory processing and airway issues. We found there is so much to do for all kids and adults.

Sloane’s first ride was the Na’vi River Journey in Pandora and she loved it. The slow boat ride and darkness with the colorful lights allowed Sloane to see and enjoy the ride. We also found out she LOVES Frozen Ever After ride at Epcot. Looking back and knowing then what I know now, I wish someone would have guided us about the areas Disney has to offer for families like mine. This would have allowed for us to take our time and go at our own pace throughout the park instead of rushing to meet our fast passes for rides.

For Sloane to enjoy being a typical kid at Disney without worrying about doctor appointments and therapy appointments is a blessing. Our first trip with Sloane reignited my childhood love of Disney.

Each time we go I learn something else that makes our trip a little more easier and relaxing. So after 4 years of navigating parks and resorts with Sloane, I decided I wanted to use my knowledge to help families like us have a fun, worry free vacation.

What Clients Say...

"Katie was a great DisneyWorld travel agent! Our trip was smooth and she made sure our room requests were submitted. She even stayed on the phone for hours getting our character dining reservation booked! Once we checked in, she had decorated our room door with Mickey and left a special surprise for our daughter! I highly recommend her travel services! We had a wonderful week long trip at Disney!"
